Opal Lock Standard

Overview

Opal Lock is a Windows security application that utilizes Self-Encrypting Drive (SED) technology and provides a software solution for managing hardware-based full-disk encryption. Users are given the ability to set a password to unlock encrypted drives and to manage other features of their TCG SEDs. Additionally, Opal Lock displays current status and detailed information about the drives on the system.

The Standard version supports all basic functionalities of Opal Lock for up to five Opal Drives, including internal drives. Standard version also includes setting up a pre-boot OS environment for unlocking drives when the boot drive is locked. With the Standard version, setting up drive encryption includes setting up the pre-boot OS environment on a bootable USB drive.

Upon purchase, you will receive the license key in your email or in your account. Download our Software package from download page and install it on your windows PC. After new installation of Opal Lock, start the Opal Lock and you will be prompted to activate your license. Please use the license key you receive in your account and email to activate.

Warning: This is Windows 10 and Windows 11 Software. It does not detect drive on Intel Optane memory acceleration system and does not support 32-bit operating system.
